There are 3 stages in the conclusion of a contract of insurance:
The full payment of the quote by you is evidence that you have accepted the quote and a contract of insurance (the "insurance contract") has been entered into between OMINSURE and you.
Clause 5 below deals with the insurance contract.

All disputes arising from the insurance contract, and especially where OMINSURE disputes liability in terms of the product/s or service purchased by you, must be dealt with directly with OMINSURE only. In other words, you will have recourse directly against OMINSURE.
You are required to make payment immediately upon purchase of the product/s or service. If incorrect pricing is displayed or you over or underpay for a particular product or service, you will be notified by OMINSURE. You must pay any outstanding amounts requested by the OMINSURE. You cannot refuse to pay any outstanding amounts by relying on the price or amount displayed. However, you are entitled to cancel the insurance contract in accordance with the terms and conditions imposed by OMINSURE.
OMINSURE will refund any overpaid amount to you.

After your payment has been verified by OMINSURE, the product documentation will be sent to you via email.
You may cancel your policy and receive a refund of your payment subject to the terms and conditions of your insurance contract.

If you default on payment the insurance cover will be withdrawn.

Complaints related to the product/s or services must be made in writing to OMINSURE and must contain details of the complaint. OMINSURE will acknowledge each complaint within 1 working day of receipt and will endeavour to resolve the complaint within 5 working days. If the complaint cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, you may submit your complaint in writing to the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance at PO Box 32334, Braamfontein, 2017.
